These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of the SecondLife Collect website and our collection services. By submitting a collection request or using our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Service Description

SecondLife Collect provides a free collection service for selected reusable household items within London. Our service is focused on reuse, responsible recycling, and waste reduction.

Submitting a collection request does not guarantee collection.

2. Item Acceptance

All items are subject to review and acceptance at our discretion. We reserve the right to:

  • Accept or decline any item

  • Refuse collection if items do not match the description provided

  • Refuse items that are unsafe, damaged, or unsuitable for reuse

Items must be in reusable, working, and safe condition.

3. Collection Process

Collections are arranged based on route availability and operational capacity. We do not offer guaranteed collection times.

Items must be accessible at the agreed collection location. We are not responsible for items left outside prior to collection.

4. Donation & Reuse

SecondLife Collect is a commercial service and not a registered charity. While some items may be donated through charitable or community partners, donation is not guaranteed for all items.

Items may be reused, resold, recycled, or otherwise processed responsibly depending on condition and suitability.

5. Liability

SecondLife Collect accepts no liability for:

  • Items left unattended before collection

  • Loss or damage caused by inaccurate item descriptions

  • Items declined at the point of collection

Our service is provided on an “as-is” basis.

6. Service Area

Our collection service currently operates within London. Service areas may change without notice.

 
7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page.
